We have anticipated adopting 2 girls in our care for over 3 yrs. a 3rd sib came along and we waited more. next we had an adoption meet. before littlest was freed or appeal. 2 older have pretty severe prob after all this time and diagnosis are numerous including FAS. We have been told that we have to get receipts and proove what we spend NOW for adoption support. We are concerned about the high costs of raising these girls and getting the best care for them. Is anyone out there familiar with this process what is allowed in the cost etc. like is it only costs above and beyond normal kids. The oldest we thought about only a guardianship as she had to go into group care last yr when the baby came along. She is also severely destructive w/ furniture and cars. we were told we could average those costs out over the # of yrs we have had her. She is not attched either. These kids are 10, 5, 19 months. C-
