Update, Christmas wishes. :)

Hi everyone. Been away from my computer for a while. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. This was my first Christmas with any kids at all and on top of that I had 5. Let's just say that it was interesting. They were so excited, it was very cute.

One of my fs had an overnight with his mother and she cut his hair very horribly. His bangs are extremely short and crooked now. It is really sad to look at. I am not trying to be mean seriously, but he looks like Lloyd off of Dumb and Dumber. That is sad. I guess she smoked around him all night because he could barely breathe when he got home. That makes me so mad.

Anyways, no new news my way really. My former fs that I post about all of the time - I saw his teacher again in another store and she told me some more horror stories. She said that now he has lice and that instead of treating it his parents are putting vasoline on it and sending him to school that way. I told his teacher that the reason they never checked on him in the first place is because BOST didn't submit a formal complaint. She promised she was going to report it, we'll see. I told his caseworker about my meeting with his teacher, again, and she said that it is getting out of hand and that they will check on the situation. She said that since they have told me stuff twice that she will go out there personally and check him out, we'll see about that too. I will let you know about anything that gets done.....or usually in his case...doesn't get done.

Everyone else is fine. My last day to work is Thursday...thanks for all of your support and encouragement to follow my heart. I will keep you guys informed on how my transition goes. I am sick today and even more behind at work. I guess I will just have to catch them up as much as I can, they will live.

Best Wishes,
Brooklyn

Pugsooie!
I've been thinking about you and figuring that you had not heard anything positive about your fs. I am so sorry! I KNOW how frustrating that is! I hope that he will be checked on VERY soon, and that he will come back to you soon (although I hope he'd be lice free!)
I'm glad Christmas was good- even if you have a funny looking kid now! Don't you hate that?! I hope your fs is breathing better now! Have you reported that to his CW?
I'm so excited for you that you are so close to leaving work! What a New Year you should have! I'm hoping to be able to stay home by this time next year. We will see!

I understand how you feel about the haircut. My two fds come home from their visits several times with their bangs the same way. They told me maw-maw done it.Now when they start getting a little long we make sure they are pulled back so they have to take the rubberbands out to cut them.It has worked so far.(you can't do that with a boy though)
