Another ?...re: books/listings of children
When I attended an orientation at a private agency that handles foster kids, they showed us a book that listed waiting children with their photos and profiles. Nobody at the County has mentioned this. Have any of you been able to review such a book at the county office? If so, was it helpful? Did anyone find a match that way?
Thanks! Lynn

We are adopting our foster kids in KY. We have what is called a SNAP book and website that has the kids and their profiles. SNA
P is Special Needs Adoption Program (sorry if you already know this). All local libraries in the State have the binders, however, most are outdated. Our website is kept current. We did receive a referral on a 12 y/o girl from there, however, we had to turn down the placement once we learned more about her. We are now being reviewed for another 12 y/o girl. So, in short, yes we have had luck here in Kentucky. Good luck with your search for your child. Michelle
