Smile Our foster son just

Our foster son just got "officiallY" moved to foster to adopt! His plan was changed to adoption back in July, but now all the relatives have fallen through! We were told today in a permanancy planning meeting that if we want him, he is ours!

Currently TPR is scheduled for November, but we were told we should talk to the sw on Monday (she is on her honeymoon!) about getting that date moved up! That would be GREAT!

congrats

Is adoption of your fs what you had hoped for? How old is he and how long have you had him? Isn't funny how we cannot predict what will happen in our lives day to day?

Well, our fs is our first foster boy, we'd only taken girls before that! Had 20 some and not one went to adoption!
We really wanted to add a girl, but are thrilled that we'll be able to keep this boy! (Of course, I still want a girl too!).
He is 8 and has been with us since the first of June. I have an 8 year old bio son, so things can be interesting here! My other kids are 14 and 6- there is NEVER a dull moment!)
