Does your child/foster kid have problems attaching to you or showing affection??
If your child or adolescent has been neglected, abused, rejected in infancy or if the birth mother was harsh to the child in infancy and didn't respond to the child, the child had many placements,or lost a primary caregiver he/she is at-risk for Attachment Disorder. This is rarely recognized in many foster/adopted children. Without proper care, touch, and love the child learns not to trust adults or love.If you would like more info, please tell me.
