Interstate...
We are matched with a teen from another state. We are hoping to get him as a foster child by August 18th, when school starts. The worker is not going to start the interstate paperwork for atleast a few weeks. Is there any hope of getting this teen by a month from now? We want him to start school witht he freshman class and not have to start later in the year. Just trying to help him transition smoothly.

I have heard it may vary from state to state as well as from agency to agency in my situation- They chose me as the adopted family at the end of January and she did not come to live permanatly until May. We had several visits but they said she could not move any sooner due to the interstate paperwork.
