Is there a list anywhere of a list of questions to ask caseworker when they call about foster children? Got first call today, and I couldn't think of all the questions I wanted to ask about the child. Visitation, therapies, medical needs, and so on. Thanks!

Great list of questions.
Would also add: Does child have any clothing with him/her? (sometimes there might be time to run out and get a few things before the child arrives at your door). Any additional belongings with him/her? Does the child have a case plan, and if yes, what does it stipulate? If the child is young, I ask for birth history and the type of formula the child is on. Does the agency have the child's shot records? |
