![]() We submitted paperwork to DSS for summer camp reimbursement in the beginning of April. A supervisor had to fill out the paperwork and submit it to finance because the kid's worker was on vacation (again) and messed it up. For what should have been a little over $1k each for the summer, they sent $115 for each child. Now, the camp needs a huge payment by Monday or the kid's can't go to camp on Monday morning. None of my inquiries have been satisfactorily answered and I am certain that we will be turned away on Monday morning as I just called and they have no payment yet. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do next? My husband and I work and simply can not have all of these problems. Why does the quality of assistance that kids/fps get vary from worker to worker? We didn't have these types of problems with our other child and his worker but they seem to be consistent with this placement. |

I have to pay up front for my foster kids to go to daycare or summer camp and then the state reimburses me. Sometimes It takes them 3 months to send me money, dependes on how the sw does the paperwork.
