International Foster Care
We have a situation, which is unprecedented in our county. Two children, who are in my home, from another country had to be taken into custody. One child is not a citizen, the younger one was born here. ** has been deported. Dad is across the country and is here illegally. Contact is being made with the grandparents, who do not speak English, through an interpreter. The older child has direct phone contact. Has anyone else had a similar situation?

I haven't experienced a similiar situation but if you are looking for legal resources Lutheran Immigration and refugee services might have some information. I know they have a program for fostering refugee children. Good luck.
