Very Pleasant Surprise
Hello everyone. I just thought that I'd let everyone know about what this forum has done for me. I started coming on her a little over a year ago for support as a single foster/adoptive mom. I'd write off and on and got lots of support from some people here.
Well, a few months ago I responded to a thread by Dark Fate and he pmed me. We've been inseperable ever since!!!!  We just wanted to let everyone know that, by accident, adoption forums ended up being our match maker. We are getting married on July 10 and I couldn't be happier. He is a wonderful guy and is soooo excited about being daddy to my little Breezy. We love each other soooo very much. Adoption is soooo very important to us both and it is just perfect that we met in such a way and now get to parent, together, the most wonderful daughter in the world. (well, we think so anyway.) We'll keep you posted. Alicia & Jeremy

I was just starting to sink my teeth into the concept of adoption, when I noticed your number of posts taper off. That as you know happens alot when people become more settled and have a good rein on things. I just assumed that was what had happened to you. I'm so glad you found someone who shares your interests. Congrats! It's nice that your daughter to have a daddy too. What a great family you have given her, both in yourself and now, a daddy.
