losing our foster children

My husband and I are about to lose three precious foster to adopt children. The agency placing the children claimed there were no family members that can handle the children.

Late last night we were told a family member that gave these children up numerous times, has demanded these children be adopted by them.

Every professional involved has written letters and described the damage this will do to the children. Unfortunately, it looks as though the relative will get the children. We need prayer please. My family is devasted.

Wow - how rampant is this ??? I have been on other forums where horror stories of caseworkers removing kids have occurred. I actually stopped visiting one for a while because it was making me feel my situation was hopeless. I will pray for all of you, please include me in your prayers as I've also lost a child.

I know exactly what you are feeling they did not tell us that there were other family members involved either but there were from the begining. My family just lost a 5 month old little boy and I know how much it hurts. So maybe if we just pray for each other it might get better. As much as losing your foster children hurt try agian because there are time when it will workout and when it does it will be more wondreful than you could ever imagen.

My prayers are with you
