We're doing fine, just BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. When the kids first come into care you have to have the doctors, dentist, WIC appointments done as quickly as possible. Plus, we've been trying to get J set up for Head Start. We're waiting to see if he is accepted or not. We've also been trying to find an agency to help him with his speech and developmental delays. So, we've been busy doing that.

Jim's son's are here for the week and we've been busy with them too since they live 7 hours away. But, thank goodness for the extra hands. They've come in handy. No pun intended.

T and D's mom is still in the crisis unit and calls at all hours of the day and night. And the "dad" if you want to call him that, is now trying to build a case agains the mom to get custody of T and D. He has never seen little D since he was born 3 months ago and I can't tell you the last time he saw T. He doesn't have a leg to stand on. I have to testify against the mom on the 5th of August about what happene with her. Not looking forward to that. Then, T's hearing is on September 5th. I think that the judge will decide then and there if there will be a TPR or not. We believe it will go in our favor. Please pray for us.

How was your vacation? Did you all have a great time? Can't wait to see the pics.

Things should start slowing down around here next week. Everyone's appointments should be done and we'll be able to breath easier.

Hey there. Wow, no wonder you haven't been able to post. haha Lots of kiddos at your house! I'm sure I'll get to go through the "mom of 3" thing soon. Although, at least my 2 bio's won't need all the extra appointments, etc.

I hope that Head Start will come through for you. I know that you really believe he needs it, so hopefully they will see that as well. When are you supposed to hear?

I can not believe that dad is stepping up now. What is wrong with people? I totally agree with you though, that he doesn't have a leg to stand on at all. "His" kids probably don't even know who HE is! How sad. I know it's going to be rough testifying against mom, but just remember that it is just one step closer to adopting your sweet little angelS.

Vacation was great!! Pictures will be on their way tomorrow or Saturday!
