Looking for nephew born Aug. 27, 1972 in Fort wayne Indiana. mary beckman caseworker. In foster care till three months and then again till 9 mos when my sister could no longer care for him. She tried. i thought this might give me a lead. he was a 9 plus baby at birth . At 9 mos. he had blonde hair and blue eyes. he was big for his age. mother's name is wanda french. i have permission from mother to search for him. Please e mail me. he will be 30 this year!

What was the name of your nephew? Not that I would even know of him, but thought that might help in a search. Even if it was changed later someone might be familiar with it. Good luck in your search.

Hi! Thank you for replying. His real name was Destin Liberty French. His mother's name is Wanda. (She now lives in Florida) I am pretty sure the foster parents called him Greg or Gary and Wanda heard the adoptive parents called Brian. Wanda was around 16 when she had him. let me know if you have leads, I'd really appreciate it.
Sometimes we wonder if he hated his real name and never responded, or his a parents never told him, but they had promised my sister., according to catholic Charities. At the time my sister had a hard time raising him and going to school, I was still in school, and my parents could not since we had a mentally handicapped brother at home. She sure loved that baby though....
I have posted many of the adoption boards I could but I thought this might give a lead. As far as we know someone wanted him at the 9 mos. she gave him up.but he may have been in foster care longer for all we know.
Sorry this is so long...I and my sister still feel our heart strings are attched to him. Thanks again and let me know if you might know anything and it would be a blessing with someone else to help search!!!!!!!!!!
