Hello everybody,

Just checking in to see how everybody is doing .. but looks like I am not the only one who has been absent.

We have been struggling with flu and colds the past while ... seems the kids pass it backwards and forwards .. at least that is my explanation. DH was happy to hear that everybody would be eligible for a flu shot this year. I reminded him that the doctor had told us last year that they are not that effective .. but I guess all this illness before winter is even here has him a little antsy.

Oh, that's funny - I was just looking at the thread this morning, thinking I really need to post!!! lol

Our fd (who we had Feb6-Apr15) just came back to us last night. She may just be here for the weekend, maybe until November, or maybe always.... that's basically the timeline that the CW gave us.. great, eh?

She's a wonderful child, amazingly bright, and fits in with our family like she's always been here. We've seen her "post-honeymoon" and we still love'er, so that's a good sign. Oh, and she specifically asked if she could come back to our house - how could ya say no???

Her bio is very relieved that she's back here, and it's less for them to worry about, as opposed to her going to "new strangers", y'know?

Well, I'll keep ya posted whether she stays or not. Bail hearing is this afternoon, so she could technically go home either today or after the weekend, but the CW didn't think that was going to be possible quite so quickly, so we'll see....

Just wanted to update you all on what is happening with Miss Piggy. SW is now registering her with the Central registry and is expecting her to be adopted before Christmas. I am happy and sad all at the same time .. I know its good that she will have a permanent home .. but will miss her terribly.

It seems to get harder and harder to say goodbye somehow.

Anyways thats all my news.
