When we started the adoption process my bio sons were 3 and 8. When we brought our daughter home they were 4 and 9. My daughter was also 4. She transitioned into our family so well. You would never even know she was not bio. Now her and my son that is the same age are the best of friends. It's like having twins...

We had my husband's girls from his first marriage...they LOVE the boys! We have not had any issues with transition.

My mother did that. I am adopted and she has 4 children that she gave birth to. My two youngest brothers are bi racial and still they are as good as my blood! What egsactly is your question? She loves us all the same, treats us all the same, I think it is a matter of who you can connect with. Some children you just fall in love with (your natural children or not) and some you just cant connect with. You will know in your heart! Good luck!
