hi,

i was wondering if anyone heard of family focus, or worked with them? they handle foster care, we are currently working with our county, but only thing we can only get placements in our county, so we only had 3 calls last year and none this year, so we are thinking about switching to them. we are eopn to 0-13 and any race, so not for sure why, i call our worker and see but she siad that there nothing.

Shera,

Are you in an area with a small population? Generally, you get more placements if you are near a large city. We lived in the Chicago suburbs, where there were relatively few foster children, but the city always had more than they could handle, so we got plenty from them. Even then, though, there would sometimes be a wait of several months. If you can get with an agency that is in a large city, you have a much better chance of getting a placement.
