Hi,

I'm new to this forum and a new foster mom. We have a 5 month old baby boy who's goal is adoption. We are hoping to adopt him, but things are not looking great with the bio mom. Any support or advice would be greatly appreciated

Thumbs up

Welcome to the forum,

what do you mean by things are hairy with the bio-mom ? I had a bio-mom who was in rehab immediately after the child was placed with me at 2 days. The bio-dad picked up the child and took him to the rehab center. She never succeeded in her rehab and the father couldn't get his act together so the child is now freed for adoption. I haven't had any negative experiences with the bio-parents at all but maybe can help you anyway.
