got tpr
Just wanted to post that TPR happened in our case last week and we were named the adoptive resource. It 's been a long road and as happy as we are, we know there is another family hurting because of this decision. I do believe it was best for fd and in hearing a little more in court, I believe that even more. We are beyond happy and can't believe what a weight has been lifted. I know we won't feel completely at ease until the formal adoption but we feel pretty good for now.
To all of you waiting, good luck and know that it can really happen.

03/06 - Approved Foster/Adopt Parent in CA 03/06-02/08 - 5 kids placed with us (E, O, S, H, J) 03/06/02/08 - 4 Respites (R, F, D, R) 02/08 - Moved to TX 08/08 - H adoption final 08/08 - Approved Foster/Adopt Parent in TX 08/08-5/09 - 3 short term fosters during this time (A, P, M) 03/23/09 - FS P - 3 days old 11/02/09 - FD A - 7yrs old - Hoping she stays forever! Still waiting for another forever child or two...
