Our first MAPP class is tonight. First we'll do fingerprinting and all the other paperwork toward homestudy. I know it is advised to send something about your family with the homestudy so the child can get a feel for your home, community, family. What sort of narrative is best? What type of pictures? Can you link a website if you have a family website or myspace about your family (which I don't).What do they want to know about most? What the family does, schools, religious activities, parks, community activities, pets? Should I wait to make this after the homestudy is approved?

We sent a few photos and gave our Web site address, too. We also provided a quick overview of our lifestyle and hobbies in a biography format. We wanted to make sure that adoption workers knew we are very active and that we travel abroad regularly.
