We have a date!!!!
Did you hear me? We have a date! We get to finalize! Its the end of our rollercoaster ride!
 Our attorney called today to tell us we have a court date for April 13th. Thats in 5 days! 5 DAYS!!! I have a feeling this will be the longest 5 days ever!!

Mommy 2 twin girls FD 5 years old (July06-Nov.06) Went back to mom FS 3 months old (Sept06-Oct06) Went to bio. dad Twin FD 5 weeks old (Sept06- present) TPR date 8-08 TPR'd on 8-25-08 (now waiting 30 days for appeal)  Girls Became Legally Free on 10-3-08!!  Signed Adoption Agreements on 1-30-09!!  Finalization Date 4-13-09 at 3pm!!

06/08 - First appointment with private adoption agency 10/08 - Completed foster parent/pre-adoption classes 02/09 - Switched agencies and submitted adoption application with DHS 05/09 - Home study approved and submitted for several waiting children 06/09 - Opened home to foster care placements 06/09 - Chosen to go to committee for a sibling group of four 08/09 - Not chosen at committee 09/09 - Passed on sibling group of 2 Happy Daycare Provider to 7 children: E age 7, Big C age 6, A age 6, Little C age 3, B age 2, CJ age 1 and Baby E 10 mon Happy foster mom to 1 baby: Frank the Tank, age 8 mon (placed 6/17/09)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! It has been a long journey for you, but I am so happy that it paid off in the end, with your two beautiful daughters. While you are finalizing your adoption on the 13th, I will be going to my initial foster-adoption class. Congrats again..
