Sometimes legal risk adoption works!

We were matched with a beautiful toddler as a pre-adoptive placement a few weeks ago and have been transitioning him from his foster home to ours. So far things have been going well. And the best part: DSS successfully TPRed the birthparents so our little boy is LEGALLY FREE FOR ADOPTION.

After the nightmare we went thorough with our former FS, I had no idea the legal end of things could go this smoothly. (Of course, it helps that the BPs have been out of the picture almost since birth!)

Please send your prayers our way that this transition goes well and that our former FS is kept safe.

WOW! Such a smooth ride with no bumps is almost unheard of! I'll bet you are so thrilled. Will your new son be home for Christmas??
