My dh and I are in the middle of adoptin my dd. We have met with the adoption worker last week for the first time. She said that she has to come out to our house 3 more times. We have a visit coming Friday. What goes on during these meetings. The last one we just signed our intent of adoption papers and told her the name of our attorney that we will be using. I am so nervous about these next visits and I was wondering if I could get any advice or heads up from some of you that have already been through these visits.

When my aw came out we went over my finances, the adoption subsidy and whether or not I was going to continue foster care.

Should I get everything together for my finances? They went over all that when we done our home study. Do they go through every room in my house again. I have a nice size house and wow at the cleaning lol?

The adoption worker has been to our house at least twice a month since my daughter moved in. The visits are usually pretty short and she just asks us how we're doing and if there is anything we needed to talk about. It's pretty non-stressful in my experience.
