It is DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is finally done!!!
 We signed the papers the 27th of August and that made him ours!!  Now we are just waiting on the court date to change his name and that is coming up within the next few weeks! Our attorney is on top of things! Our adoption worker is too! This process has gone fairly smoothly thus far, it was the getting here that took forever! Anyhow, we are so excited for him to officially/legally our little boy!!!

Happily married 13 years & a mother of three beautiful daughters 13, 11,& 9 and one son 2 adopted Feb 2nd 2009 and one son that was never born,  Proud Foster Parent since September 2005! FD:1 reunited after she turned 2:  FD: 3 reunited after she turned 4:  FS: 17 left @ 19, after H.S. joined reserves, now stationed in Iraq  FD: 17 been with us a few months and is getting ready to be reunified with family at the end of March!!!

Congratulations!!! That was our family's adoption day too!!!! Hope the rest gets done quickly, I know what it feels like to be done, but not quite done yet!

Mommy 2 twin girls FD 5 years old (July06-Nov.06) Went back to mom FS 3 months old (Sept06-Oct06) Went to bio. dad Twin FD 5 weeks old (Sept06- present) TPR date 8-08 TPR'd on 8-25-08 (now waiting 30 days for appeal) Girls Became Legally Free on 10-3-08!!  Signed Adoption Agreements on 1-30-09!! Finalization Date 4-13-09 at 3pm!!

Foster/Adopt classes began January 14, 2008 Classes completed February 28th, 2008 Licensed to Foster/adopt September 9th, 2008 Soon to be AD placed 07/10/09 adoption to be 01/10 FD- M 6 yo placed 10/02/09  FD- H 6 yo placed 02/20/09 united with aunt 07/10/09FD- J 2 yo placed 02/20/09 united with aunt 07/10/09FD- Big K 9 yo placed 10/07/08 To be reunited with parent 02/27/09  FD- Lil' K 7 yo placed 10/07/08 To be reunited with parent 02/27/09
