Does anybody know?

What rights to information do prospective adoptive parents have when the child has not been placed with you yet? A little background, our beautiful AD has a baby sibling that we have been identified as the adoptive placement if mom fails to reunify, they are in another state and our ICPC is approved and we are just waiting to see what will happen. We have a semi-open adoption with Bmom and have some information that would lead me to believe that things might not be going too well, I called the sw to check in and see how things are going and she has yet to call me back, it's been 2 days. Is she just busy or is it a confidentiality thing and she can't let me know what's happening. Should I keep trying to call her or just wait it out.
Thanks

I think that is a good question. I am not sure. But I will tell you my experience - but it is different. We have a sib set of 3 and we are waiting to finalize their adoption. They have a bio brother in a foster home and that foster mom is planning on adopting him. For a while we thought she would not pass the homestudy and we would get him. But my worker told me everything she knew about it. I asked anything I wanted and she told me. It might just depend on the situation and the questions. Good luck.
