Spoke w/ the supervisor who had remembered me from our adoptions....that felt good since it had been 2 years since the last one. I expressed all of my concerns and they did listen. Since there is a sibling that the FP also is adopting, the supervisor explained that it would be hard to deny this child since the sibling (half) is in the home. She was already aware of some of my concerns...but....it does not look like it is going to change the situation. I can sleep better(actually I just keep telling myself I can) knowing that I did express the concerns...but I pray that this child goes on to lead a happy and healthy life.

Happy - I'm sorry it appears that your placement will not work out, but I am glad that you did take the time to mention your concerns to the sw. Thank you for keeping the best interests and safety of this little one first.
