Birth Certificates
Does anyone know the difference between the various types of birth certificates? I know there is the birth certificates that is given for bio children. I know there is the delayed registration birth certificate given to those who were adopted from foster care. Do families who readopt their internationally adopted children also get the same type of delayed registration birh certificate?

My sister got a regular birth certificate when she adopted from India.

Question
For those who have finnlized. I know it takes almost a year here in CA to get the new BC but how long till you guys got the post cards telling you how long?
We were final back in April and i was just wondering.

We finalize in July... if it takes that long, what do i do about kindergarten registration. Wont they need the new bc?
