I did it. I called my agency today and talked to them about leaving and going to a county. I told them that we want to finish our family and then take a break and then we want to come back. They were very supportive. They said they will give me a letter of recomendation and transfer all our info. They gave me suggestions, which was great and they said they would keep our info on file, so when we come back. It felt great. I was worried for nothing. I have worked with them for 7 years and they have never let me down and here again they are being wonderful. I also called the county we decided to go through to see how the process will work and how long it will take, I left a message. We want to start asap after Punky leaves. I know it will be months before everything is complete, but I see that as a good break. Im starting to get excited . Tomorrow Punky sw is coming for a visit. We talked last week and it sounds like in a month or two she will be going with her dad and step mom. Im asking her when the transition will start. Im excited for them and they look so excited. We start unsupervised visits in two weeks. I know from there they will start adding till they move her. I will be sad to see her go, but I know she will be happy and loved with her dad and stepmom. So maybe in two months we start the process of becoming fost/adopt parents.
