We are almost there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had our adoption homestudy on friday and everything went GREAT!!!!! The adoption agency worker will be back on the 26th for us to go over it and make sure it is all correct and then we sign it and she turns it over to the adoption worker for the DHS and then she approves it and sends it in for authorization and we go to court and it is DONE!!!!!! They said it would be done by the end of June!! We are so greatful and excited to be adopting him and giving him our last name!!! AWESOME!!!

Happily married 13 years & a mother of three beautiful daughters 13, 11,& 9  and one son 2 adopted Feb 2nd 2009 and one son that was never born,  Proud Foster Parent since September 2005! FD:1 reunited after she turned 2:  FD: 3 reunited after she turned 4:  FS: 17 left @ 19, after H.S. joined reserves, now stationed in Iraq  FD: 17 been with us a few months and is getting ready to be reunified with family at the end of March!!!

August 2005 - approved with 1st agency October 2006 - 1st match (she lost the baby at 7 months) November 2006- 2nd match May 2007 - birthmom chose to parent July 2007 - decided to switch agencies Jan. 2008 - approved with agency #2 July 2008 - placed with our forever kids - sib set of 3 November 2008 - suprise phone call and we added their younger brother March 24, 2009 - finalized adoptions for first 3 June 16, 2009 - finalize adoption for #4

June 07 pre-placement classes completed August 07 contracted & sent application August 07 fingerprints/background checks/references/phsycological evaluation Sept 07 physicals/TB time test/ Oct 07 1st home visit/fire inspection/1st office visit Nov 07 each had individual interviews at office/ Jan08 2nd home visit Feb 08 1st and last office visit Homestudy complete/Thursday 27th March approved Thursday June 12th 08 first placement. 4.5mth baby girl. Not sure what the plan is but we are loving her regardless  Monday August 25th 08 second placement. 1 day old baby boy. He is so tiny and precious. We love him!

Yeah!!! Congratulations. We are also hoping for a summer adoption and can't wait for our baby girl to officially be "one of us"!!
