Talking I Have a Son!!!!
My husband and I will finally be getting our son!! We were matched with this little 2 mos old boy a month ago and were waiting to see how court turned out as far as if the mother is going to be offered any reunification services before we accepted to take him. Well, the judge ruled that bio mom not receive any services and that the baby be placed in adoption status!!! We would have him right now if it wasn't for us moving last weekend to a new county, so the SW has to get a out of county order to place the baby in the new county we live in. So we will be getting him probably sometime next week. BUT, today is our first visit with him and we already have many pics that the foster mom has sent us! He is adorable and only 3 mos old. The TPR hearing has already been set for 6mos out. God is good and has a plan for everything. This little guy is such a blessing and he is just the happiest baby according to the Foster mom and you can see it in all the pics. We are floating on cloud nine!

Hang in there to all those still waiting for their children. It is all in God's timing and His timing is perfect! Blessings to all!

June 07 pre-placement classes completed
August 07 contracted & sent application
August 07 fingerprints/background checks/references/phsycological evaluation
Sept 07 physicals/TB time test/
Oct 07 1st home visit/fire inspection/1st office visit
Nov 07 each had individual interviews at office/
Jan08 2nd home visit
Feb 08 1st and last office visit
Homestudy complete/Thursday 27th March approved

Thursday June 12th 08 first placement. 4.5mth baby girl. Not sure what the plan is but we are loving her regardless

Monday August 25th 08 second placement. 1 day old baby boy. He is so tiny and precious. We love him!
