Tell me something about yourself?

This was asked today to my son from his teacher. Today he went to meet his teacher and to ***** and see how far along he is. The question was asked. My son answered.

Along time ago I was all alone and lonely in my b-moms tummy. Then I came out and my mom and dad saw me and thought I was pretty good looking guy and kept me. I was not alone or lonely anymore. The teacher was confused, but I had tears in my eyes. My son believes he came to us as a newborn, like our daughter. I have explained, but to him a 1 yr old is a newborn. When he said these words and he looked at me and smiled and my heart melted again. Im so glad he is not lonely or alone anymore.

Heart Baby Book Things

I have a pile of sticky notes that have so many of B's firsts things he has done and words he has said etc... I am saving them for after the adoption is final (hoping things get moving soon) and then I can start working on his baby book and scrap book.

Things like what your son said would most definately be put in the baby book. You will always remember it in your heart and mind but having it written down so that your son can see what he said in kindergarten (I'm assuming since he is 5) is something that he can also treasure as he gets older.

It's fun to look back at our girls' baby books and remember what they used to say that either touched our hearts or made us laugh because only a child can think up something so innocent and yet so funny.

It sounds like he knows he is very much loved by his mom & dad. Treasure everything because these little ones grow up way too fast.
