TV special tomorrow Re: foster care & adoption
I saw the commercial on tv just a moment ago...show will star Rod Stewart and I thought you guys would enjoy!

I actually watched this program last year for the first time and it was VERY moving. I found myself crying thru most of it. A week later we finalized our first adoption thru foster care. I would encourage everyone to watch it. I know our DVR is set to record!

I watched this last year and the year before. I also cried. I watched it wishing someday that would be us. Well this year we have our forever family and will watch it as a family.

AAAAAAHHHHHH!
I've been dealing with the flu bug at my house and haven't been able to do much, let alone get on the internet or watch tv. I must have missed it! It must already be over in Arizona. What was it about?

***** Birth mom to R (11) who was born preemie with a heart defect that was repaired by open-heart surgery, who is now utterly amazing!  Placement 02/25/05: Beautiful girl A abandoned at birth, now 4 years old and into EVERYTHING! (especially our hearts!) TPR 01/18/06. FINALLY assigned an adoption worker after 8 months with zero activity!!!  We finalized 12/06/06!!!! Little A is FINALLY ours!  We live in the Valley of the Sun (and sometimes the brown haze that hovers over us)

I watched that show and was also moved, but very frustrated at the same time. Those stories make it sound so easy. I don't understand how they can play it up like that.
