The poster child for TFC to Adopt... sorta literally!

Hey guys!

My adoption agency's annual "outcomes" brochure was published! And in it is a photo of my kiddo as well as an article I wrote about our journey. This is distributed all over Virginia.

www.umfs.org

In the left column at the bottom you'll see "outcomes report". Click on that. And we're on page 15 or 16. The article is entitled "All about Austin". His picture is on the following page.

AmyAnne,

Wow, that is sooooo AWSOME ! You and I sort of started our journey's at the same time; we were also matched in December 2004. I am so glad to hear that Austin has come so far. Your article is wonderful and Austin is a very handsome young man.

Congratulations!

Things are good here. Sometimes it surprises me how much new stuff (memories, fears, and anxieties) is still coming up, a year and half later. I do somethimes get frustrated that it feels like my child will never be fully potty trained or will never voluntarily eat a fruit or vegetable . But things are going pretty well. It is still tough on my older one when M's antagonistic behaviors escalate, so I have to make sure C gets time alone with her friends and alone with me. People tell me all the time how much of a change they see in M and how she has just blossomed. She is really trying to make sense of her past lately, and we are working on her life book.

Have a great day!
