credit report
does anyone know if in the state of FL when you are adopting from DCF (the state) if the homestudy includes running your credit report?
And also how it might affect you if you are having no trouble meeting your monthly bills (including CC payments) with money left over but you have a fairly large amount of money on your credit cards? I want to try to adopt but I am worried that these things might hurt my chances. thanks for any help you might be able to give me |

I am no expert, but we just completed our homestudy and we are in the state of Fl. I don't think they pulled our credit report. The did get references from work and verification of income. The had us list all of our expenses. I think if you are meeting your monthly payments with money left over, I don't think they would have a problem with debt. Just my option though.
Good luck,
