Hi,
My husband and just finished our homestudy and are planning to foster adopt. Everything has been moving fast and going wonderful. I couldn't say enough good things about our social worker, she is great! We thought this is just way to easy. Well I guess it was because it came to a screeching halt today. We finished are homestudy did our first aid/cpr classes, have our life book done, all we have left to do is take the 10 week class. We thought we were almost there- and then today I get a call saying that the next classes won't be until next year?????!!!!!!!
I am so frustrated! We won't even finish the classes until may? That sucks! Anyway, I called my social worker really upset and she said that it is not hopeless. That we can still adopt legally free children. Which is great but they don't get them very often. The wait is going to kill me ! Anyway thank you for letting me vent. I was just so discouraged.
