adoption after 2 1/2 long years!!
i am just so excited!! i just heard from my lawyer and barring a natural disaster, my son adoption will be official at the beginning of dec. there have been several adoption dates set in the last year but he assures me that this time will happen. so all of you waiting for your families to be official, hang in there, your time will come.

Hey congradulations . I know how you feel cause today We got the call we have been waiting for . We go to finalize the adoption of our 2 angels on Nove . 18 . I cant wait . We have had them in the foster system for 4 years and started this adoption 2 1/2 years ago . It has been a long drawn out process but is almost over for us too .

amom2two: yes, i still have his sister, but it looks like she will be returning in feb. how is your 2nd adoption going?

thanks alot and yes we are going to have 2 celebrations . we also have 3 older kids that wont be here when the adoption is done but they are coming in a couple weeks . and we will have a celebration for them then . but will have one for our house hold that night . The second adoption will be done after christmas.

it is official!! the adoption went very well and the judge was great! she was so accomedating of the large crowd that was there. my son did wonderfully and we are all very happy. hope everyone else has a wonderful adoption day experience as well!

Great news! We are waiting for the attorney to call and tell us what day our court will be--he says don't fear it will be before the end of the year! So glad to hear you are done
