Have you ever thought.....

Have you ever thought maybe some of us are actually interested in the same children???? I have actually stopped putting to much info about children we are looking at for fear some one may say " hey that sounds good, I think I'll try that one."Silly I know, but think about it. Alot of us are looking at children in other states. You know we have to be looking at some of the same children. It kind of feels like competion. I know that's sounds bad, but everyone always wants to be "the chosen one", but not everyone can of course.
I really feel there is the right family out there for each child. My worker say " don't get your hopes to high, you never know exactly what kind of family they are looking for. It can be one tiny thing one family has that makes them the "chosen family."
Right now we are up for a child and my worker feels really good about this, so do we. Our worker never gets excited, she's a tad grouchy, but she could hardly talk she was so happy about this one. We should know by the end of this month....
I hope and pray for the right child for us, and I hope and pray that each child finds a forever family, even if it's not with us......

Well, I have throught similar things. For instance when we attend a foster care gathering for our agency. I look around and see all the people with babies and wonder how they got called and I keep getting skipped over! I feel bad about feeling that way but I guess they are perfectly valid feelings.
