Usually, you have to have the home study done through the agency you are adopting from. If you have signed up with a local state agency, that agency will search for you. The best option out there is interstate compacts and you can contact Hope for Families or Adoptakids. Both will require a home study done through their agency, but then you will be open to adopting out of ANY state through the foster care system. If wanting a private agency for a new born, they are all running about the same price. If looking for an older child in the state of florida, check out Woven Basket out of the Tampa area.
