Seeking a Puerto Rican child
I am an Afro/ Puerto Rican and it is my greatest desire to adopt a child who is at least 1/2 P.R. My husband and I live in CA and so far, it seems to be hopeless to find a child like that out here so I think FL might be our best bet. Any suggestions as far as agencies or other resources?

My husband is from Puerta Rico we live in Florida adoption process has been long and sence we were approved 11/22/2006 still waiting to be matched ,not many children from puerta rico here

I know one attorney who has placed PR/AA children this year: Shorstein and Kelly in Jax. Also you should look into Heart of Adoption and ask what they are seeing...My mom is PR and we have it in our profile. We were shown several times on that issue alone and matched once to a PR/CC situation. The Emom dropped out of contact but I know that they are there...not so many but there!
