Hi all,

Just wanted to warn everyone that visits or plans on visiting All
Children's Hospital in St. Pete in the near future that they have
little if any security in the parking lots.

I took my 2 yr old foster son for a 24 hr EEG on Monday, we were
discharged at 8:00 AM Tuesday. When we walked out to the parking lot
our new min-van had been stolen.

The have no security cameras, only a guy driving around the lots
every 30 mins or so. On average it only takes 15 - 30 seconds to
steal a car. Of course All Children's has not apologized and won't
accept any responsibilty.

You'd think in this day and age when people are robbed, car jacked,
raped and murdered in parking lots they'd know better. There is only
1 way in and out of the parking lot, had they had a security gaurd
at the entrance/exit (which incidently they have in the mornings)
this could have been avoided.

Shame on them! If it isn't hard enough dealing with a child who's
sick and been tethered to a computer for close to 24 hours only to
walk out and have your car stolen. UGHHH!

As far as the individual(s) who stole our car. Karma will catch up
to them. They saw the two baby seats in the back of the van and
chose to steal the car anyway.

The detective assigned to my case told me this morning that he peronally has been involved in over 100 cars that have been stolen from All Children's Hospital.

It's been over 48 hours, our car is still missing, and I've yet to get an apology from All Children's Hospital.
They need to improve their security.. no if's, and's or butt's!
