Researching agencies in Florida
My husband and I are currently foster parents looking to adopt. Our current foster kids will be reunified with their Mom in the next few weeks. We're starting to look into private adoption as I don't think that we'll be able to wait through all the bureacracy with foster-to-adopt through the State of Florida.
I would really appreciate if you would pm/e-mail me with your suggestions on agencies in Florida. Race is not an issue to us, but I'm starting to want a newborn more and more. I want to have that experience of being Mom from the very beginning. Thanks! Kelly (kelly7278@comcast.net)

I am in the same boat, researching different agencies. So far, the best one I have heard about is the one operated in Tampa by an adoption attorney. I am interested in what feedback you get about others!

Try attorneys
Some attorneys handle adoptions and are quite good at it. They do most everything an agency does.
Try realyellowpages.com and do a search for adoption in florida.
