Hi : I am new to the boards and wanted to say hello . My husband and I are adopting from Russia and we will be traveling soon . I am searching for moms who would like to make new friends and socialize with and without the kiddies.

What part of Kansas do you live in? We are always looking for more friends we have two children. Our daughter is 2 1/2 and our son is 2 months old.

Congratulations on your upcoming adoption! Russia, that sounds wonderful. My husband and I looked into China, then Russia, and then God presented us with a Philippine baby that we're trying to adopt.....our first child, a little girl....

When do you travel? What agency did you go through? Isn't Russia a two-trip adoption? Have you gone on your first trip yet?

What part of Florida are you in? Do you have any other children yet?

WoW congratulations to you as well !!!!!! That is very exciting we will be making 2 trips and I am hoping the baby will be home by mid Jan. Time is a killer and drives me crazy LOL .
