Successful agency adoption in FL?
Hi,
We are trying to narrow down our choices from three agencies in Florida. The costs and services for a caucasian or caucasian/hispanic infant are similar. Of course the wait times vary so we are unsure of who to go with. If anyone has adopted successfully in Florida through an agency, please e-mail me. alexismoreno6526@hotmail.com I would appreciate any info you can share. Thank you so much, Alexis |

Our Experience
We, my wife and I, had talked with around 30 agencies nationwide and finally decided that an adoption attorney would be a better route. We found out that Christine Welch (Orlando) is really great and we adopted through her in Sept. 2001. She ket us informed and even explained everything to us, even when we had thousands of questions. Please consider giving her a call.

Just wondering -- why the advice not to use Suzanne Martin with A Bond of Love? I was considering using that agency because I've spoken with someone who adopted pretty quickly with A Bond of Love and liked the agency.
Thanks! |

Children's Home Society in Jacksonville, FL is a great adoption agency
My husband and I adopted our baby boy through the Children's Home Society in Jacksonville, FL in October 2003. It is a wonderful agency. From the day that we first applied to the day we brought home our son was less than one year. Our social worker was very kind, professional, and helpful. We think of her as a friend. I highly recommend this agency to anyone considering adoption. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at triciainspain@yahoo.com. Tricia

Fl Agency
We also used Childrens Home Society of SW Florida to adopt our Youngest Daughter, and we are now Foster Parents for them.

Bundle of Hope Ministries in Jacksonville is FANTASTIC. I cannot express what a wonderful agency they are. I have talked to several other people who adopted through them that feel the same way. They are so caring, so honest, and one of the more affordable agencies we found and we've contacted them all. Best of luck.

We used Adoption By Choice in Tampa FL and I would highly recommend them!! We got matched REAL fast and they worked hard for us, even when our son was born. Can't say enough good things about them!!
