I was adopted through the Catholic Charities in Tampa. The only thing I know for sure is my birth mom was in a home for unwed mothers. Also I now know that if the code on my birth certificate (with my adopted family on it) is correct I was born in Tampa General Hospital. (Code 39-20)

I'm looking for my sister who was born in Tampa in 1957. She was put up for adoption by Catholic charities. I don't have much more info in reguards to specifics but I do believe my father lived on Davis Island at the time. e mail me if you would like to discuss this further David

I have a cousin who was adopted out via a home for unwed mothers around the same time you two are looking. Birthmother was Catholic, but I am not sure that she went through Catholic Charities. She came from Brunswick, GA so could have either gone to FL (her brother lived in Tampa) or Savannah... I am not sure if this child was male or female.
