YO HO all those that read this post, My name is Dawn M. Rieker Hancock, I relinquished my Child in Tampa Fl. Under the care of these Doctors, Jack Morris Mezrah, Albert Victor Cohen, Albert Lewis Saphier and Nathaniel Byron Metts<<<He likes to spell it N.Byrom Metts, or just Byron Metts, I gave birth in Saint Joseph's Hospital, I gave birth between 6am and 11am ( I'm told ) 9/19/70. I have A+ Blood, Reddish Brown Hair which was short at the time of my Childs birth, I am slightly freckled, with Blue/Green Eyes, I am white. I stand 5'8", and was born in Tampa Florida July 6th 1953. I went to Leto High School Tampa Fl. but did not finish. I was married at the time of my Childs birth but I was not living with my Husband and Childs Bfather Russell Lionell Hancock, I was living in my Fathers house David L. Rieker at 4521 Dreisler Street. Russell also is white, has Reddish Brown hair, with light Blue Eyes, Stands 5'11", and was born in West Virgina, Born 12/ /48, Russell has an under-bite. I have Vitiligo in my family history, and several problems giving birth. I understand that Florida adopts many children into other states, and i've learned that many go into New York because a doctor that has a license in Florida may practice in New York as well, like two state for one license. My Fathers family is Catholic, but we never practiced it. I have two blood Brothers both younger then I am, and one younger Step Brother, Russell is the 1st born of 7 Brother and Sisters, Russell has been contacted and would love a relationship. I've contact Cristina Serrano at the Florida Office Of Vital Statistics P.O. Box 210 Jacksonville Fl. 32231 ( 904 ) 359-6900 ext. 1086 and was infomed theres nothing there for me. I've registried with the I.S.R.R., i've never heard from them again, I tried vsn.org but was told they can not help, along with a strange letter saying F.A.R.R can not help if my Baby was adopted out of the state. I've written to the Doctor attending, Dr. Jack M. Mezrah and requested my records with ceritifed letter, sign off returned to me, i heard nothing from him, I've been to Saint Joseph's Hospital records dept. and told they have nothing before 1980, I've walked into Dr. Mezrah's office requesting records, they have nothing before 1980, I've had my Doctor now offically request my hospital and doctors records, I'm on my 3th request for them now. I've posted on boards, registries, and had a couple of search angel that claim my Childs birth cert. can not be found in vitals of Florida. Both Russell and I were left out of all adoption details which inculdes not knowing our Childs Gender.... I have two leads stateing that I had a ***SON***, the 1st from an unknown email my Brother said that came to him, stateing " Dawn you had a SON, and a DOCTOR you know adopted him " my brother says this email to him had no return addy or name, strange I believe either/both of my parents have known this info for 33 years now and never told me. Saying the info came like it did in a no name no return addy would keep my parents out of the mix, my parents are cowards. I've been doing family trees on all my doctors, so far, nothing much, but the is one lead. Another helpful thing happen to me, on Oct. 1st 2003 a person by the user name jdmizell told me that my Child was a ** BOY** and his exact date of birth is 9/19/70 <<< but this is not offical in any way, but two good leads none the less. A second search angel sent me every one *LIVING in Florida ( Not Born in Fl. ) with the date of birth of 9/19/70, its a very long list, alot of letters go out but only a few phone or email back, most are returned. ***** I HANG OUT IN ADOPTION.COMS CHAT ROOM *****as Dawn M. Well if you have any question i'm in chat at night, most every night, i search Florida big time and use the tools I Have found online to help others, from local birth cert. numbers to public records, property records, and peoples ages, arrest records ect. Please come on in to chat cause they don't want us to use our email addy's in the posts. I love my Child and I never wanted to relinquish them.
