Looking for birthparents.

I am a female born september 19, 1972. I was adopted through the childrens home society in jacksonville fl.

also does anyone have any info on Everett H Williams ,Jr. His name apears in the docters place on my modified birth certificate.
What hospital did he work at? Was he a docter his name also apears as the chief of the Bureau of vital statistics?

Were you ever able to find out anything out about the doctor? He also signed my birth certificate as the physician of record. I was born in Melbourne Florida on October 29, 1975.

He worked for vital statistics. Where all the adoption BC are recorded at. His name is on mine also because my step father adotped me. He to my knowledge is not a doctor. He was a vital statistics worker.

I am also in the same boat. I was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1970 and was adopted out soon after my birth through Children's home Society. E. H. Williams jr is also the name on my birth cert. I believe he worked for the Adoption agencty as their Pediatrician because he does have the MD before his name.

Hey i have E.H. Williams on my b/c and i was born in Daytona beach. How did this "DR" be able to be in so many different hospitals. I'm not sure if the info on my b/c is correct. The "DR" seems to be based out of Jax. I was born in 1973. I'm confused

I live in Jacksonville, FL. On a whim I checked the phonebook and there is a listing for Everett G. Williams, PA. Must be his son.

E. H. Williams, Jr. is also the name of the doctor listed on my birth certificate (which I assume is modified). As far as I was told I was born in Mount Sinai Hospital in Dade county but this is not listed and I don't know it to be true for certain.

Do you have any other information on E.H. Williams?

my husband was also adopted through CHS- did you happen to get your Non identifiying info yet from them? It costs $150.00, we feel it should be free as this info belongs to the adoptee! The reason I am asking is I want to find someone who has Non ID info from CHS to tell me exactly how much information they will give you regarding your birth family. Well, CHS told me that they would give me whatever info they had- it just depends on what info the birth parents were willing to give them. Possible info should be what they look like, religion, ethnic background, hobbies, their age at that time. They said that sometimes birth parents will update them with new info over the years and they will give you that too, it's usually medical background and whether or not there are other siblings. You also hope that CHS will mess up and give you info they should not have!! Do you have any of your adoption documents from CHS giving you info on your birth parents?

I was born 11-6-70 in jax fla. and I too have E H Williams on my bc..both as the chief,bureau of vital statistics and the M.D. I do not have a hospital name and not sure how to get non id info. please reply back if you can help with that.Thanks alli.

And I Too Have The Same Name On My B/c. My Modified Bc That Is. I Hear They Are Known To Change B/c.

It Reads 1217 Pearl St. Jacksonville, Fl 32202.

Williams was the director of Vital Statitics for many decades...... he is on my husbands amended b/c from 1958..... just an FYI
