searching for birth family

Scott, I'm not sure if this would be a match. My mother was at FC in Wash DC most likely during that time. My brother who was adopted was born in 8/64, but reportedly the adoption took place through Episcopal Church and Homes, which is reportedly in Maryland. Please let me know if any of this may be possible. I do know that some information on birth certs can be changed, even birth dates.
