I am 36, and I am looking for my birth family or any information that could help me with what I already have.
If my mother attended this maternity she would have been there in 1968-1970
I was born 11/4/1969 and adopted in January 1970 in Wadesboro, NC (Anson County)
My mom was 17 years old, she completed freshman and sophmore year in school (she was very popular and a cheerleader during these two grades) and continued the 11th grade in the maternity home, her father worked for the railroad and her mother worked at a florist. the father (my father) worked as a truck driver for a local sand and gravel company and his father passed away in a tractor accident. Please anyone can help me that would be so appriatetive!!!!!!!

Have you accessed the new law in NC allowing for a confidential intermediary? As of Jan 2008 you can go to the agency that you were adopted from and ask them to contact your birthparents and act as an intermediary.
