Hello I am trying to find anyone that might have stayed the FCH in Little Rock Arkansas around 1978, I am under the impression that my birthmother stayed there and I am trying to get information on her for my search. Maybe someone stayed there and befriended her and could give me some imformation as to what her last name is or anything. Please reply if you have any information. Thanks!!!

Is your birthmother from this area? Have you contacted the FCH home for non-identifying info? Have you contacted the adoption agency for non-identifying info?

Janet,
From what I understand she is from around here. I have called the Florence Crittenton home and they told me they can't give me any information. I was adopoted through the state of arkansas and I have also contacted them over a year ago for my non-id infomation and still have not received it, when I called last week they said they were still working on it. I am at a dead end here and I just dont know where to look from here. Any thoughts? Did you attend this home also?

I am an adoptee who was born and adopted in Denver, Colorado. My aparents were from here so that is how I wound up in Little Rock.
You can join a yahoo group called ARandLA. You might could get some help there.
Also there seems to be a Confidential Intermediary Program in which you can contact the Department of Human Services and ask about the CI program. There is also the option of a search angel:
