Yes, I would love a photo and where did you get this book? My friend so wants so to get this letter written by his sister that he found after her death written to " My Darling Daughter, Lora Lee". I know there is someone out there that this letter would mean the world too. Any ideas would be appreicated on finding info. And did you mean 1962? This baby was born May 1962.

No, I meant '74. This book was published in 1974 about Flo Crit homes prior to that time. If you want an email of the photo, please contact me at karenwb2@verizon.net |

Oops, forgot to tell you that the home was only for unwed mothers at that time, as we were all had to give up our newborns for adoption for one reason or another (I had just had my 15th birthday when he was born.)
His Daddy was 16 years old. Our parents would not let us get married and forced me to give him up for adoption. |

Does anyone know if there is or was a Florence Crittenton Home in Savannah, Ga. ? I think my mom might have been there in 1970.
