I'll try to go today if the rain (Ivan) hold off.

Edenlady - I checked the same Mecklenburg county website for you and your brother's births. I did not see anything that might be a match. Is he your biological brother? Do you know for fact that you were born in NC? Your b.c.'s are more than likely still available in the county of birth (if) it was NC. Since most counties did not remove them at that time. If you could just find out where you were born, then have someone go to that county and check for.
Good Luck to you and let me know if you have more questions. Tricia

BIRTH CERTIFICATE

HI TRICIA3

YES I DID, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I WAS ON VACATION FROM WORK LAST WEEK. MY DAUGHTER HAD A BABY THE SAME DAY I GOT MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE. I HAVE ALSO RECEIVED MY NON-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION AND IT IS CONSISTANT WITH MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE. YOU ARE TRULEY AN ANGEL, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS INFO FOR 25 YEARS AND YOU WERE KIND ENOUGH TO HELP ME OUT OF YOUR HEART. AGAIN, THANK YOU.
NOW I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO WITH IT ALL, I AM JUST PROCESSING EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW.

BLESS YOU

ARROWBEAR

Congratulations on the new grandbaby!!!!! What a wonderful time this is for you. And I'm glad they both arrived on the same day. Talk about karma.
Just wanted to offer some suggestions as to where to go next.
You can contact me atJayhope@aol.com .

Did you find your birthmother? My sister was at FCH in Charlotte at that time.

Tricia,
I'm searching for my sister's adopted daughter. (My sister passed away in 1981.) She had a baby girl at FCH in May, 1970, and I'm pretty sure the date was May 23rd. I noticed that your bmom was at FCH through June 70. I also noticed a posted by someone named "Ann", who was at FCH and claims to have had her baby on May 23rd. (She says that her home name was Constance Moss.) I tried to email her at the email address in her post, but it comes back "undeliverable". Do you, or would your bmom perhaps know how to contact Ann? I was hoping that maybe she knew my sister and would remember whether their babies were born on the same day. My email address is jecallaway@yahoo.com

Thanks, Jamie

could you please tell me how you found ecords of babies born on the day you checked (finding one with no identifying father)? I have been searching for 37 years for my son. I was in the Florence Crittenton home in Charlotte, NC and he was born at Charlotte Memorial on October 3, 1971. Anything you have could help me. thanks

I am looking for a baby boy, named Scotty Andre Severt, no father name listed, who was born October 3, 1971, to a white mother, black father both living in Wilkesboro. I think that the Charlotte Courts handled this adoption. thanks for any info
